At Caroline Valley Community Church, we routinely use the REVISED COMMON LECTIONARY as a source for Sunday Scripture readings and sermon texts. A lectionary is a way for the serious Bible student to read through the Bible every three years, and for Christians to communally prepare for the coming Sunday service. By reading common passages, Christians share a united focus on the Bible throughout the liturgical year. This particular lectionary is provided by the Vanderbilt University Library.
